New Delhi : There has been a decrease in active cases of coronavirus in the country in recent times, but the number of people who lost their lives due to corona is not decreasing. Death toll from corona in the country is increasing and now this figure has reached close to 1 lakh. According to data released by the Union Health Ministry, during the last 24 hours, 1095 people have died due to corona across the country and till now the virus has caused a total of 99,773 deaths in the country.
During the last 24 hours, there have been 81,484 new cases of coronavirus reported in the country and with these cases the total number of corona cases in the country has increased to 63,94,069. This information has been given by the Union Ministry of Health.

During the last 24 hours, a total of 78877 people have been cured across the country and so far a total of 53,52,078 people have been completely cured across the country. Coronavirus recovery rate in the country has reached 83.70 percent. Number of active cases of corona in the country has risen to 9,42,217.
Continuous testing is being done across the country to identify corona patients, more than 10.97 lakh corona tests have been conducted across the country on Thursday. The total coronavirus testing in the country has now crossed 7.67 crore. India is having the most corona tests worldwide after the US.
