FIR registered against 203 Congress leaders including Rahul-Priyanka Gandhi in Greater Noida

New Delhi : An FIR has been lodged against former Congress President Rahul Gandhi and General Secretary Priyanka Gandhi at the EcoTech Forest Police Station in Greater Noida. Police have registered an FIR against 203 Congress leaders including Rahul Gandhi and Priyanka Gandhi. Several serious sections have been imposed against these people in the FIR. The case has been filed by the Gautam Budh Nagar police.

The case has been registered under Section 188 of the IPC and Section 269, 270 for violating Section 144 and endangering the lives of common people during the epidemic. It has been said from the police that Rahul Gandhi and Priyanka Gandhi along with about 200 workers entered Noida via DND to go to Hathras. In which around 50 vehicles were also included in the convoy. All the people involved in that convoy were requested not to go ahead after applying section 144 in the district, informing them of the status of Covid-19, but all the workers and vehicles involved in the convoy violated the rules of traffic and the general public. Interrupting traffic, they started moving towards Yamuna Expressway.

It was further told by the police that two vehicles involved in the convoy collided on the Noida Expressway. After this, an attempt was made to stop the convoy at the zero point of the Yamuna Expressway where the members of the Congress party scuffled with the police. Rahul Gandhi and Priyanka Gandhi started walking on the Yamuna Expressway with their workers, causing a jam on both sides of the expressway. Many ambulances were also stranded in it.

Police say that section 144 is applicable in the district and without permission, these people started trying to force such a number on the expressway. They were told that Section 144 is applicable here and you are violating it. We also talked of worsening the law and order situation, but there was no impact on them. An FIR has been registered against 203 people including Rahul Gandhi, Priyanka Gandhi.

Rahul and Priyanka Gandhi were going to Hathras to meet the family members of the Hathras gang-rape victim. But they were stopped on the Greater Noida Expressway. The police also took them into custody. However, they were later released. After this, both these Congress leaders returned to Delhi and thus the police succeeded in stopping them from going to Hathras.
