Panaji : Bollywood actress Poonam Pandey has filed a case of assault against her husband Sam Bombay at the Canacona police station in Goa on Tuesday. Poonam has said in her complaint that her husband molested her on Monday night and also beat her up. In addition, Sam threatened her.
After this, Sam was arrested in Goa on Tuesday. Poonam had filed a complaint of assault and intimidation against her husband. An official said that the incident took place in the village of Canacona in South Goa where Pandey was shooting for a film.
Inspector Tukaram Chavan of Canacona Police Station said, “Poonam lodged a complaint late on Monday night that her husband Sam Bombay assaulted her and threatened to suffer dire consequences. After that he has been arrested. The victim’s medical examination has been done.”
According to PTI reports, after his arrest, Sam will now undergo a medical test, after which Sam will have to appear in court. The couple announced their marriage on social media on September 10. After this, Poonam and Sam were also spotted at the Mumbai airport. The two had gone to Goa for their honeymoon.
Even during the lockdown, Poonam and Sam were caught by the police in the car. Poonam is very active on Instagram and shares bold videos for fans. Her husband Sam also appears in these videos.
