Record Single Day Spike Of 97,894 Corona Cases in India, More Than 1000 Deaths

New Delhi : Coronavirus is wreaking havoc in the country, everyday record new cases of corona are reported, due to which there is a continuous increase in the active cases of corona.

According to the Union Health Ministry, a record single day spike of 97,894 new cases of Coronavirus have been registered across the country from 8 am Wednesday to 8 am Thursday. With these new cases, the total number of coronavirus cases in the country has risen to 51,18,254.

During the last 24 hours, active cases of corona has increased by 14043 and the total corona active cases in the country has crossed 10 lakh. Total number of active cases are 10,09,976.

According to data from the Union Health Ministry, 1132 people lost their lives due to corona across the country in 24 hours. Coronavirus has so far caused 83198 deaths in the country. Every day more than 1100 people across the country are losing their lives due to this.

During the last 24 hours, 82719 people across the country have recovered from Corona. A total of 40,25,080 people have been cured of corona so far and the recovery rate of coronavirus in the country is 78.64 percent.

Testing is being continuously carried out across the country to identify corona patients, more than 11.36 lakh corona tests have been conducted across the country on Wednesday and the total coronavirus testing has now crossed 6.05 crore. India is having the most corona tests worldwide after the US.
