New Delhi : Today the whole country is celebrating the festival of Diwali amidst the Corona crisis. Preparations are going on all over the country. At the same time, Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Saturday greeted the people of the country on Diwali.

Prime Minister Modi tweeted and wished the countrymen a happy Diwali. PM Modi said that “Wishing everyone a Happy Diwali! May this festival further brightness and happiness. May everyone be prosperous and healthy.”

At the same time, President Ram Nath Kovind greeted the people on Diwali on Friday. At the same time, the citizens were asked to take a pledge to become a ray of hope and prosperity for the poor, destitute and needy people of the society. The President said in his message that this festival celebrated by people of different religions and communities strengthens the feeling of unity and brotherhood in the country.

President Ramnath Kovind said that it gives us inspiration to serve humanity. On this occasion, we should pledge to be a lamp of hope for the prosperity of the poor, the underprivileged and the needy.

The President also said that Diwali is also a festival of cleanliness, so we should express respect for nature by celebrating clean Diwali in a pollution-free environment. He wished that the festival of Diwali brought peace, prosperity and happiness to every house in the country.
