Ayodhya Ram Mandir : Trust expands temple complex area to 107 acre

New Delhi : Construction of the grand Ram temple is going on in Ayodhya, Uttar Pradesh. Information has been given by Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Trust that Ram temple complex will now be built in an area of 107 acres. Earlier this was being built on only 70 acres.

According to the trust, it has purchased 7285 square feet of land around the Sri Ram Janmabhoomi complex. After which the Ram temple complex will now be constructed on 107 acres.

After the decision on the Ramjanmabhoomi dispute, Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust got 70 acres of land as per the order of the Supreme Court which was earlier owned by the central government. But now some more adjoining land has been purchased by the Trust.

On 5 August 2020, Prime Minister Narendra Modi laid the foundation of the Ram temple in Ayodhya. Since this, the construction work is going on here. The map of the Ram temple has been passed, work was being done on the foundation and accordingly the design was also being updated.

According to the Sri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust, a Ramlala temple will be built in the area of about five acres in the Ram Janmabhoomi complex. Apart from that, many other temples will be built in other areas, there will be facilities for travelers, places like a museum, library will also be constructed. The work of carving stones for the temple has been done for a long time.
