Madhya Pradesh : Two laborers found 14 carat diamond worth 70 lakh during excavation

Bhopal : Two laborers found a diamond of 14.09 carat during excavation in a mine in Panna district of Madhya Pradesh. The mine was leased by the laborers and their associates. Experts say that in the auction this diamond can be sold for around 70 lakh rupees. The news of getting diamonds has caused panic in the entire village and everyone was shocked as soon as the people of the village got the news.

Ravi Patel, a diamond officer in Panna district, told that the laborer Rampyare Vishwakarma and his colleagues found 14.09 carat diamond in the mine near Krishna Kalyanpur village. He said that this diamond will be auctioned in March. As soon as the laborers got the diamond, they deposited it in the local diamond office. Five laborers were digging in a mine when they found two diamonds in the excavation.

The workers say that now the amount received from the auction of these diamonds will reduce the family’s problems and they will be able to invest that amount in the education of their children. The district from where diamonds are found is very famous for diamond mines.
