Congress’ new slogan ‘Jai Shri Ram’, Appeals people to donate for Ram Mandir
Bhopal: Although BJP may take credit for building Ram temple in Ayodhya, Congress has gone ahead in collecting funds for the temple. In Madhya Pradesh, the Congress has started collecting donations for temple construction ahead of BJP-backed Hinduist organizations. It was started today in Bhopal. Politics is also getting fierce for the grand Ram temple to be built in Ayodhya.
After competing to take credit for construction of Ram temple, now there is also a competition to collect money for construction of Ram temple. Amid preparations for the construction of a grand Ram temple by Hindu organizations including VHP, RSS, the Congress party in Madhya Pradesh started a fund-raising campaign for temple construction from today. Congressmen led by former minister PC Sharma started the campaign from the capital’s New Market and appealed to traders to come forward to help build the temple.

The Congress party appealed to the traders to distribute pamphlets and donate them to the Ram Mandir Trust. Congress said that people should avoid donating to any institution or person for construction of Ram temple. Deposit funds directly into the bank accounts of Ram Mandir Trust. The Congress party has also tried to tell the people by distributing the pamphlets that the construction of Ram temple started during the time of the then Prime Minister Rajiv Gandhi.
