Kutch : Two important projects are going to be inaugurated at the hands of PM Modi (Narendra Modi) in Kutch on December 15. Gujarat is going to take a revolutionary step in the field of alternative energy in the country. The foundation stone of the world’s largest hybrid park and desalination plant at Mandvi is to be laid. This is going to be the second important phase of development after the earthquake for the industrial development of the district. This venture will be a game changer for the people of Kutch with new investment. A 6 km project will take place on the desert border of Kutch near the Indo-Pakistan border. This hybrid park project will be a game changer for Kutch.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi will inaugurate the world’s largest hybrid park on December 15. He will inaugurate the largest renewable energy hybrid park near Khawda in Kutch. Eight companies including NTPC, SECI, GSEC, SUZLON, ADANI GREEN ENERGY will invest in renewable energy. The world’s largest 30,000 MW green energy project is about to be inaugurated. Prime Minister Narendra Modi will inaugurate the solar and wind energy park. The work of this hybrid park will be completed in phases. The project will end the water crisis in Kutch, Mandvi, Ghogha, Sutrapada, Dwarka and Porbandar. The plants at the five locations will be inaugurated by Prime Minister Narendra Modi. This is a salt water plant. So that this water can later be used for drinking, irrigation and industrial use.

– Prime Minister Narendra Modi is going to inaugurate a desalination plant at a cost of 800 Crore in an area of 60 acres on Ghrubudi beach near Gundiali in Mandvi taluka.

– Seawater will be converted into drinking water. The plant will benefit eight lakh people of Mandvi-Mundra taluka.

– With the completion of this first salt water desalination project in Kutch, more than 300 villages of Mandvi and Mundra will be freed from dependence on Narmada.

– Bulk pipeline from the new pumping station will be connected to the water supply grid after the plant starts. Thus rural areas as well as some industrial units will benefit when the water flows.

This important project with a capacity of 100 MLD seemed to have been set aside at one point. But now with the announcement that the bhoomipujan of the plant will be done during the Prime Minister’s visit, the local body has intensified its preparations and the head of the concerned office is reviewing the situation on the spot and reporting at a higher level. The fencing work was started two days ago with the cutting of bushes around the place where the plant is to be started. The stage is being set for the closing ceremony at the hands of the Prime Minister.
