6-year-old Kuhi Chetia writes book titled ‘Stories of Kuhi’, records name in Assam Book of Records

Guwahati : A six-year-old non-Hindi-speaking girl, Kuhi Chetia from Narayanpur in Lakhimpur district has written a book of 10 inspiration stories. Kuhi Chetia has recorded her name in the Assam Book of Records by writing this book in Hindi.

The book titled ‘Stories of Kuhi’ contains 10 inspirational stories. The love of this young girl towards Hindi is indeed a matter of pride for Hindi lovers while his father and mother are very happy with this success of their daughter.

Kuhi’s father is also interested in writing. He is happy that his daughter has achieved this success just at the age of 6. He said, “I got to know about her desire to write during lockdown. She may have learned it by seeing me busy in writing. As soon as I came to know about her interest, I encouraged her. Despite being from a region where Hindi is rarely used, Kuhi can speak and write Hindi. She started writing and likewise wrote 10 inspiring stories.’

This book of Mukhi Murari Chetia, resident of Ashok village of Narayanpur in Lakhimpur and Kuhi, daughter of Banti Chetia, has been published by Kuhi Prakashan of Lakhimpur. The book has been written by Kuhi who studies in the first grade of the local écrit academy. The book contains 10 inspirational stories such as Badmashi, Ghar Ka Khana, Jhoot Bole Kauwa Kaate, Sahayata, Manobal etc.
