Ahmed Patel left property worth crores of rupees for family
New Delhi : Ahmed Patel, known as the Chanakya of Congress Party and advisor to Sonia Gandhi, died at 3:30 am today. He was admitted to the ICU of Medanta Hospital in Gurgaon. His son Faisal Patel informed about the demise.
Ahmed Patel was found infected with Coronavirus a few weeks ago. Ahmed Patel, 71, tweeted on October 1 that he had been found infected with the coronavirus. The Prime Minister expressed condolences on the demise of the senior Congress leader.

According to the affidavit submitted to the Election Commission, his wife Maimuna has an income of Rs 20,15,900. Together, the total annual income is Rs 35,26,047.
According to the affidavit, Ahmed Patel has total assets worth 6 crore 51 lakh 09 thousand 803. Apart from this, he has savings of more than one crore (1,17, 04, 908). There is no information given in the affidavit about the income of Ahmed Patel’s son and daughter.
