Drug peddler attacked NCB director Sameer Wankhede in Goregaon, Mumbai

Mumbai : The team of the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB), which is investigating the drug connection of Bollywood, was attacked on Sunday. In Goregaon, Mumbai, the zonal director of NCB, IRS Sameer Wankhede and his five-member team were attacked by drug peddlers and miscreants. During this time, two officers have suffered injuries.

The NCB says that the NCB team led by Sameer Wankhede went to raid. During this time around 60 people gathered with the drug paddlers and attacked the NCB team. During this time, two officers suffered injuries. The Mumbai Police handled the entire situation and arrested the drug peddlers.

The name of the drug peddler is being described as Carrie Mandis. Mumbai Police has arrested Carrie Mandis and her three accomplices under Section 353 of the IPC. Carrie is accused of supplying LSD in Western Mumbai. NCB has got LSD from him. Apart from Carrie, two more people have been detained.

The NCB arrested comedian Bharti Singh on Saturday on charges of taking cannabis, while her husband Harsh Limbachiya was also arrested late at night. Earlier, NCB had questioned Bollywood actor Arjun Rampal and his live-in partner.

Right now, NCB’s grip on drug cases is being tightened on the Bollywood and TV world. Rhea Chakraborty was the first person to be caught in this drug angle which came out during the investigation of Sushant Singh Rajput’s death.
