Shimla : Corona infection is once again growing fast across the country. A steady increase is seen in the rate of infection. Meanwhile, shocking news has come from Himachal Pradesh. There is a village in Lahaul valley here where all the people have been found to be Corona positive. The name of the village is Thorang which falls in Lahaul Spiti. There is only one 52-year-old Bhushan Thakur left in the entire village, who is not infected with this epidemic. The rest of the village is in the grip of it. Lahaul Spiti is the most affected district of Himachal by Corona.
According to a news report, the local administration of Lahaul has banned the movement of tourists in view of the increasing number of Corona patients. Lahaul is considered a very beautiful city in terms of snowfall and people of the country and the world visit Lahaul to see this sight. In view of the Corona infection this time, a strict ban has been imposed on the movement of tourists. People have been stopped at the northern end of Rohtang Tunnel and they are not being given entry in Lahaul village. Villages across the tunnel have been declared as Containment Zones.
Officials said that Tholang village, next to the Manali-Leh highway, has 42 people who have been found to have coronavirus positive. All the people of the village have shifted to Kullu due to the cold. All the people of this village had the corona test done on their own, in which 41 people were found positive. Only a person named Bhushan Thakur has tested negative. However, seeing the situation, Bhushan Thakur has quarantined himself. He is strictly following every protocol of Corona and taking care of using masks and following social distance. Bhushan Thakur believes that this epidemic should not be taken lightly and whatever government instructions are there, it should be strictly followed.
According to sources, a few days ago all the people of the village gathered at a place in a religious gathering. In this gathering held in the village, people did not take care of social distancing, so everyone got hit by Corona. Many people from nearby villages have also been found to be Corona positive. The Chief Medical Officer of Lahaul Spiti has urged the people to come forward and get corona tested for their own good and others. So far 856 people have been found positive in the entire district. The entire village has emerged as a major challenge before the administration.
