New Delhi : Once again, the government under the leadership of NDA is going to be formed in Bihar. Beating all exit polls, the NDA led by Nitish Kumar won and crossed the majority mark on its own. At the same time, the Mahagathbandhan fought under the leadership of young Tejashwi Yadav failed to get the magic number. The hero of the NDA’s victory this time has been the Bharatiya Janata Party, which won more seats than the JDU. In such a situation, BJP has been able to bring historical numbers due to the campaign led by Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Three main factors have emerged for this unexpected victory of the NDA in Bihar.

First Factor : Modi
In all the surveys, this time it was seen that the Grand Alliance would win a one-sided victory. At the same time, there was public anger towards Nitish Kumar. But when Prime Minister Narendra Modi took the front on behalf of NDA in Bihar, the situation started changing. PM Modi held about a dozen meetings, he also appeared with Nitish Kumar in many rallies. The PM constantly praised Nitish, appealing to the people that they needed the Nitish government.

Apart from this, be it praising the plans of the Center, attacking the Opposition on national issues or targeting the Tejaswi by referring to the RJD’s Jungle Raj, PM Modi single-handedly pushed forward the NDA’s campaign. Which made the difference between defeat and victory, the results also showed that where JDU lost seats, BJP’s lead gave NDA a majority.

Second Factor : Women
One important factor of NDA victory was the women voters of Bihar. Women voters in Bihar have been considered as a strong voter of Nitish Kumar, who votes in favor of Nitish. This result is also visible in this time’s election. Apart from this, the confidence of women in Prime Minister Narendra Modi and many of his schemes was also seen in the 2019 Lok Sabha elections and now its effect has come again.

There are many schemes like the Ujjwala scheme of the central government, construction of toilets, houses, free ration, financial help to women, which directly benefit women. Apart from this, women of Bihar also appear in large numbers in favor of prohibition of liquor by the state government. In such a situation, once again 50 percent of the population has been seen to play a decisive role in the NDA victory.

PM Modi himself especially thanked the women voters after the results of Bihar elections. PM Modi wrote, ‘Sisters and daughters of Bihar have shown this time by voting in record numbers how big their role is in self-sufficient Bihar. We are satisfied that the NDA got an opportunity, this confidence will give us strength to take Bihar forward.’

Third Factor : Muslim
The Muslim voter in Bihar has been mainly associated with the RJD. There are about 17 percent Muslim voters in the state, who can make the difference of victory and defeat. But this time, the same voters appeared in different parts, which benefited NDA.

This time, there were many options in front of Muslim voters, while the Mahagathbandhan was fighting elections under the leadership of RJD, AIMIM also got a big victory in Bihar. Apart from this, parties like BSP were also able to woo Muslim voters in their area. Asaduddin Owaisi’s AIMIM was able to win five seats this time, which is considered a big vote of RJD and these seats stalled the victory of the Mahagathbandhan.

It is worth noting that this time NDA has got 125 seats in Bihar, out of which 74 have been won by BJP account, 43 in JDU account, 4 in Vikas Insan Party and 4 in Hindustani Awam Morcha (Secular) account. On the other hand, in the Grand Alliance, the RJD has got a total of 75 seats, the Congress 19 and the left parties 16 seats.
