4.2 magnitude earthquake shakes Gujarat, epicenter 36 km away from Bharuch

Many people in Surat rushed out of their houses for fear of an earthquake. Tremors have been felt in many parts of the state today. People of the city were terrified due to this attack. Intensity of the earthquake was measured of 4.2 magnitude on the Richter scale. This earthquake occurred at 3:40 pm.
The tremor was also felt in some areas of South Gujarat. The effect was seen in Mangrol, Mandvi, Bardoli. The epicenter was reported 36 km away from Bharuch.
