Mumbai : Worldwide famous writer Surendra Mohan Pathak for writing crime fiction based novels was deeply saddened that the Mirzapur web series tried to misinterpret his ‘Dhabba’ which has damaged his image and that of the book. Surendra warned the production house that if that scene is not removed from the series, then he will also take legal action against the Mirzapur web series. However, the scene has now been removed from the series and the production house has apologized to the writer.

The difficulties of Mirzapur 2 are increasing day by day. While this new season of Mirzapur is being liked on the one hand, on the other hand, this web series seems to be covered with controversies. There is a scene in this web series where Kulbhushan Kharbanda plays the role of Satyananda Tripathi and holds Surendra Mohan Pathak’s book Dhabba in his hand. Surendra Mohan Pathak objected to what he spoke in narration with this book and demanded that it be removed.

After this, Excel Entertainment not only removed that scene from the web series but also apologized to the writer through a letter on social media. The letter said that, dear Surendra Mohan Pathak, we apologize for this mistake and we also want to make it clear that it was not our intention to do so in any way to hurt your image in any way. We agree that you are a big writer of Hindi prime fiction and your work is highly appreciated.’

It was further stated in the letter that- We want to give you this information that the scene has been removed from our side as per your wish. We will blur the book cover from the scene and will also remove the voice over within 3 weeks. Please forgive us for this mistake. Let us know that on 23 October a new season of Mirzapur 2 has been released. It is getting a lot of love from the audience.
