Mumbai : Mumbai’s Bandra court has ordered an FIR against Bollywood actress Kangana Ranaut for spreading communal hatred. A petition was filed in the court, seeking to register an FIR against Kangana’s tweet as inflammatory.

This petition said that Kangana Ranaut tried to create tention between the Hindu-Muslim community through her tweet. The petitioners say that through the statements and tweets of Kangana, hatred between the two communities can increase. The petition states that Kangana Ranaut is constantly trying to discredit Bollywood. From social media platforms to TV, Kangana is calling Bollywood the epicenter of nepotism and favoritism.

The petition was heard today. The Bandra court has ordered registration of an FIR against Kangana in this case. Significantly, Kangana often remains in controversies about her tweets and statements. It is reported that the petitioners had earlier reached Bandra Police Station in this connection, but the police refused to take cognizance against the Bollywood actress. The petitioners then approached the court to investigate the matter.

During the hearing, the petitioner placed several tweets of Kangana before the court. It has been told that an FIR can be lodged against Kangana under Section 156 (3) of the CrPC. The Bollywood actress will be questioned after the case is registered. After this, if evidence is found against her, then her arrest is possible.
