FIR Lodged Against Actress Kangana Ranaut

Mumbai : An FIR has been registered against actress Kangana Ranaut in Tumkuru district of Karnataka. On Friday, a court had directed the police to register an FIR regarding a tweet against Kangana.

The court of Tumkuru’s first-class judicial magistrate (JMFC) directed the inspector of Kyathasandra police station to register an FIR against Kangana Ranaut on the basis of a complaint filed by advocate Ramesh Naik.

The court said that the complainant has filed a complaint under Section 156 (3) of the CrPC. PM Modi had tweeted in relation to the recently implemented agricultural bills. While retweeting this, Kagna Ranaut had said, “Prime Minister, someone who is sleeping can be woken up, who can be misunderstood, but who can act as sleeping or act as not understanding, what can you explain to them? Will it matter? They are the same terrorists. The CAA (Citizenship Amended Act) did not snatched citizenship of a single human being, but they shed the blood of rivers.”

Naik said this hurt his sentiments, after which he decided to register an FIR against Ranaut.
