New Delhi : In the Corona era, the railway has changed the rules of ticket reservation. This change will come into effect from Saturday i.e. today. According to this, now the second chart of ticket reservation in trains will be released half an hour before the train leaves the station. Usually the first chart is released four hours before the train leaves and the second before half hour.

In the second chart, reservation is given to passengers with RAC or waiting for those empty seats after the first chart is canceled. Or a ticket can be taken from the existing reservation counter. The chart to be created and released before the departure of the train in the Corona period began two hours earlier. Now the earlier rule will be replaced instead.

You can book reserved tickets even five minutes before you miss the train
With this, railway passengers from today will be able to book reserved tickets before five minutes of train departure. This facility has been provided to the passengers of the special train being run during the Corona epidemic. This previously released facility was discontinued during the Corona infection.

The circular issued by the railway states that the reservation chart for special trains will be prepared twice. The first reservation chart will be made 4 hours in advance. During this time, if the seats remain vacant, another chart will be released 30 to 5 minutes earlier.

Officials said that there will be a facility to book reserved tickets at the railway station five minutes before the ticket counter. He said that tickets will also be booked through the internet on a first come first serve basis.

Railways are currently running trains under Covid protocol, the first digit of the number of these trains starts with zero. The trains that will run now will run under their old numbers. However, these trains will also be called Covid Special.

The Railway Board on Wednesday released a list of 39 trains. There has been no change in their numbers. Although their schedule has not been released yet. These trains will also include trains passing through Kanpur Central.
