Mumbai: The heavy rains on Tuesday night in Mumbai, capital of Maharashtra, have brought water to the streets. Due to the heavy rains on Tuesday night, many areas of Mumbai have been flooded up to 3 feet. The problem of waterlogging is that the roads have become rivers, the railway track is flooded and people are facing many problems. Many areas including Sion, Goregaon have been completely submerged.

In many areas including Lokhandwala, Veera Desai Road, Andheri, Parel, people are facing difficulties due to waterlogging on the roads. At many places, vehicles are stuck in rain water. Due to heavy rains, the Andheri subway was also submerged and was closed due to waterlogging. Meanwhile, the Meteorological Department (IMD) has forecast torrential rains in Mumbai and adjoining areas for the next 24 hours.

Passengers on Sion railway station were stranded for hours amid heavy rains and heavy flooding. They had to wait a long time for a train due to flooding on the track. Heavy rain made the situation so bad that the platform was also flooded which caused a lot of trouble to the people.

According to the Meteorological Department, Mumbai can witness heavy rains also today.
