Nearly 87 Thousand Corona Cases Reported In Last 24 Hours, Total Cases Exceeds 54 Lakh

New Delhi : In India, the figure of Coronavirus cases has crossed 54 lakh. Total cases of coronavirus exceeded 54.87 lakh. In 24 hours, 86,961 new patients of Corona were found. 1130 people died on Sunday. At the same time, 88,966 people have recovered in the last 24 hours. The number of patients recovering for the third consecutive day has increased. So far 43,96,399 people have been recovered, while the number of people who died so far has been 87,882. The number of active cases is 10 lakh 3 thousand.

India has now become number one in terms of recovery of patients. So far, most patients have been cured compared to other countries. America has now reached number two. The recovery rate in India is 79.21%. That means 79 people are recovering in every 100 patients. America’s record is the worst in this case. The recovery rate of America is 60.51%. Tamil Nadu has the best 89% recovery rate among the 7 most infected states of the country. 87% of people have recovered in West Bengal, 85% in Delhi and 83% in Andhra Pradesh.

Maharashtra has the most active cases in the country. More than two lakh infected people are being treated in hospitals in Maharashtra. It is followed by Tamil Nadu at number two, Delhi at number three, Gujarat at number four and West Bengal at number five. According to the Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR), a total of 643 million sample tests of coronavirus have been done till 20 September, out of which 7 lakh samples were tested on Sunday.
