New Delhi : Former Congress president Rahul Gandhi arrived in Thoothukudi district on Saturday after the Tamil Nadu assembly election date was announced. During an event in Thoothukudi, Rahul Gandhi attacked the Modi government and the RSS. Rahul Gandhi said that the Modi government is ruining constitutional institutions. Due to this, people did not trust parliament and judiciary. Rahul said that I am not corrupt, therefore BJP is afraid of me.

Congress leader Rahul Gandhi said that if the balance between institutions deteriorates, then the nation gets disturbed. For the last 6 years, all institutions have been attacked systematically. Sadly, democracy has died in India because the RSS, an organization, is ruining the institutional balance of our country. Due to this, the trust has become that no one has any confidence in the Parliament and the judiciary. Rahul Gandhi further said that the Modi government is only using the ED and CBI irresponsibly. Rahul further said that BJP knows that I am not corrupt, so they are afraid of me.

In response to a question, Rahul Gandhi said, “I fully support women’s reservation, along with the judiciary.” He said that the men of India need to change their attitude towards women.
