PM Modi inaugurates India’s first seaplane service in Gujarat

Kewadia : Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Saturday inaugurated the Kevadia-Sabarmati riverfront sea-plane service on the occasion of the birth anniversary of Iron Man Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel. This service will be available for tourists daily between Ahmedabad to Kevadia and Kevadia to Ahmedabad. Prime Minister Modi himself traveled from Kevadiya to Ahmedabad via seaplane.

Earlier, PM Modi inaugurated Ekta Cruise in Kevadia. He later traveled on this cruise. The Prime Minister traveled from this cruise to the Statue of Unity.

This seaplane service started from Sabarmati Riverfront to the Statue of Unity in Kevadia. Earlier, Prime Minister Modi was seen traveling on the seaplane on the last day of campaigning for the 2017 Gujarat assembly elections. Then the Prime Minister traveled from Sabarmati river to Dharoi Dam in Mehsana district by sea plane. Many people had become witnesses of this fact, but now this unique sea plane will be common in Gujarat.

The sea-plane project is counted in Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s Dream Project. It has now been added to the Statue of Unity. This sea-plane reached Kochi from Maldives on the previous day. Its initial service has taken place between Kevadia to Ahmedabad. For the last few days, the work of constructing a jetty for the sea-plane in Ahmedabad and Kevadia was going on and all other preparations were being made.
