Kolkata : The Trinamool Congress has released the list of candidates for the West Bengal assembly elections. Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee will contest from Nandigram this time. TMC released a list of 291 candidates on Friday.

Where Mamta Banerjee used to contest elections before, there is now a chance for Sovanadeb Chatterjee from Bhawanipur. Mamta declared that people above 80 years of age will not get tickets.

Filmstar Sayantika from Bankura, Kanchan Malik from Uttarpada, cricketer Manoj Tiwari from Shibpur have been given tickets. Singer Aditi Munshi has been given a ticket from Rajarhat, Chandrima Bhattacharya from North Dum Dum.

Senior TMC leader Madan Mitra has been given a ticket from Kamarhati, Minister Shashi Panja from Shyampukur. Mamta Banerjee informed in the press conference that there are about 27-28 MLAs, who have not got tickets this time.

TMC has released the list of candidates for the West Bengal elections. TMC has announced the names of candidates for 291 seats. Mamata Banerjee will contest from Nandigram this time.

Mamata Banerjee announced that they will contest elections on 291 seats, but in Darjeeling’s three seats, other parties will be given a chance.

50 female candidates, 42 Muslim candidates, 79 SC candidates and 17 ST candidates have been given tickets by TMC.
