Drunken man assaults Marathi actress in Goregaon

Mumbai : Marathi actress Kranti Redkar has been abused and attacked by a drunken man in Mumbai’s Goregaon area. The man abused the Marathi actress and also assaulted her. At present, he has been caught and kept in custody.

The Goregaon police have arrested a 38-year-old man. The man was using dirty slang for the Marathi actress, as well as he assaulted her. The person was drunk. At first, he tried to stop the Marathi actress, after this, he started fighting with her. The man pushed the actress, physically tortured her and abused her constantly.

Actress’s husband lodged a complaint
This Marathi actress is the wife of an IRS officer. The posting of the officer is currently in the NCB camp and he is busy exposing the drugs rackets in Mumbai. He filed a complaint as soon as he came to know about the misbehavior with his wife. The officer has filed a lawsuit under sections 354, 509, 323, 506 and 185 of the IPC. Police have taken the accused into custody. The matter is currently under investigation.
