BJP leader Rakesh Singh & his 2 sons arrested in Pamela Goswami cocaine case

New Delhi : There has been a new twist in the Pamela Goswami cocaine case. BJP leader Rakesh Singh has been arrested by the police following the allegations of Pamela Goswami arrested in this case. According to the information received, he has been arrested from the east Bardhaman. Pamela Goswami was already arrested with cocaine. She alleged that she was implicated by Rakesh Singh, a BJP leader close to Kailash Vijayvargiya.

On the other hand, both sons of Rakesh Singh have also been arrested for obstructing the investigation officers during house search. The police had stepped up the investigation ever since Rakesh Singh’s name appeared in the cocaine scandal. A summon was issued to Rakesh Singh on behalf of Lalbazar headquarters. He was to appear at Kolkata Police Headquarters Lalbazar by 4 pm on Tuesday evening. But Rakesh Singh had approached the Calcutta High Court challenging the summons of the police.

However, the court rejected his petition. Only after this, the police of Watganj police station reached Rakesh Singh’s house in large numbers on Tuesday. The police who came to their house to search Rakesh Singh’s house, CISF and Rakesh Singh’s sons did not allow them to enter the house first.

However, after about two hours, the police entered Rakesh Singh’s house and started a search operation.Meanwhile, around 9 o’clock, information came that Rakesh Singh had been arrested from the east Bardman’s Galsi.

At the same time, both sons of Rakesh Singh have also been arrested for obstructing the search operation.
