Weather Alert : Chances of stormy rain in these states including UP-Bihar

New Delhi : There are constant fluctuations in the weather of India at this time. Light drizzle was seen in North India and other parts of the country, while temperature is also rising too hot in many areas of the country. The Meteorological Department has predicted heavy thunderstorms in many parts of Uttar Pradesh as well. Hail has also been forecast in some areas of Uttarakhand with thunderstorms and rains. Meanwhile, the Meteorological Department has warned of snowfall in many areas including Himachal Pradesh, Jammu and Kashmir. There is also a possibility of light rain in these states.

In the plains, the temperature will continue to drop this week. The weather in Himachal Pradesh is expected to be bad for five days. Meteorological Center Shimla has forecast the weather from 21 to 25 February in Himachal Pradesh. From 21 to 25 February, the weather will be bad in the high altitude areas of the state. At the same time, till 23 February, a yellow alert has been issued in Shimla Solan, Sirmaur, Mandi, Kullu and Chamba with warnings of thunderstorms and rains.

Know why the weather is changing –
Rainfall has been recorded in Nainital of Uttarakhand on Wednesday due to the less effective system of western disturbances created for the last two-three days. Due to the western wind here, the temperature in the plains has increased. According to Skymet Weather, a weak western disturbance is currently over Himachal Pradesh and adjoining areas. Also, a cyclonic circulation is seen over central Pakistan and adjoining parts of western Rajasthan. Another cyclonic system is seen in central India over central Maharashtra. A trough is extending from this cyclonic system up to coastal parts of Kerala through interior Karnataka as before.

Possibility of rain in these states –
According to Skymet Weather, there can be rain along with thunderstorm in northeast India, Sikkim, West Bengal, eastern and southeastern parts of Bihar, Jharkhand, Odisha, Chhattisgarh, eastern and southeastern Madhya Pradesh, Vidarbha, Marathwada, Telangana, Karnataka and Andhra Pradesh during the next 24 hours. Light rains are also expected at one or two places in central Maharashtra, Andaman and Nicobar Islands. Activities on the mountains in North India can begin in the next 24 hours. Rain and snowfall will be seen first in Jammu and Kashmir, Gilgit Baltistan, Muzaffarabad and Ladakh. After 24 hours, the weather may increase further.
