IPL 2021 : Complete list of players who remained unsold in auction

Chennai : In the Indian Premier league 2021 auction, all 8 teams together bought a total of 57 players. The auction was completely dominated by fast bowlers. Rajasthan Royals bought South African all-rounder Chris Maurice for 16.25 crores, becoming the most expensive player in IPL history. New Zealand fast bowler Kyle Jameson was bought by Royal Challengers Bangalore at a huge cost of 15 crores. Fast bowler Jay Richardson was bought by Kings XI Punjab for 14 crores.

At the same time, Chennai Superkings included Krishnappa Gautam in his team for Rs 9.25 crore. However a number of illustrious players such as Alex Hales, Jason Roy, Evin Lewis and Aaron Finch remained unsold as no one showed interest in buying them.
