Meet Shabnam : The first woman to be hanged in ‘Independent India’

New Delhi : Pawan Jallad from Meerut has once again come into discussion. Pawan Jallad has completed inspection of Mathura jail to hang Amroha’s Shabnam. This will be the first time that a woman will be hanged in independent India.

Earlier, Pawan hanged all the four convicts of the Nirbhaya incident. Pawan says that the culprits who commit such ruthless murder and destroy their family should be hanged. Pawan Jallad told that he inspected Mathura jail a year ago. He said that after the order from Lucknow, he would inspect the hanging house again. Pawan Jallad said he is ready to hang the culprits.

Pawan Jallad had fulfilled the dream of his ancestors by hanging all the accused of Nirbhaya case. Pawan Jallad told that this was his father’s dream. He had learned to hang with his grandfather Kallu Jallad. Pawan Jallad was also given two days training in Tihar Jail.

Pawan says that in 1988 he went to Agra with his grandfather. Where a criminal was hanged. Pawan is the only executioner in the state.
