Kolkata : India Today East Conclave 2021 was organized amidst an electoral riot in West Bengal. Home Minister Amit Shah was also present at this forum. During this time, he gave an opinion of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) on Bengal and targeted West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee.

Amit Shah said, ‘I’ve come to topple Mamata’s Govt. from Bengal, not to support it. The BJP government can only come here if the TMC government is toppled. Mamta ji’s government is not running for people’s good, people will topple this government in the coming election. We have no grudges with Mamata didi. But corruption is growing under her rule, she is irritated by it, then what can anyone do.’

On the question of TMC leaders joining BJP, Amit Shah said that the ongoing cases on the leaders of BJP did not end. Investigations are done at three levels before anyone is included in the party. After that the party’s national president approves it. Talking about the violence, Amit Shah said that if the BJP government comes, we will find the goons of TMC from underground as well.

On the issue of farmers, Amit Shah said, ‘I want to tell the farmers of Bengal that after forming our government, we will also give the dues of Rs 12,000 and new installment of Rs 6,000 to the farmers here. Amit Shah said that the farmers of Bengal should not worry. PM Modi said that after forming our government, we will return 12 thousand rupees to the farmers.’

Amit Shah said that the government puts the amount of the PM Kisan Fund directly into the account of the farmers. For this, the list of farmers, their bank details would be needed, ask Mamta ji how many details have they sent? She has sent only one letter.

Change is the real purpose
Amit Shah said that the BJP’s motive behind keeping the name of Parivartan Yatra is not just to change the Chief Minister, power or any minister. Our aim is to change the situation in Bengal. A change in the situation occurs when the desire and aspiration within the people, we awaken that what is going wrong in a democratic way, we’ll stop it and do something good. I think the culture of violence will change after forming the government in Bengal. This is not the culture of Bengal, but this culture has developed in the last 30-35 years.

Amit Shah expressed his complete confidence in forming a BJP government in Bengal. He said that with more than 200 seats, the BJP is going to form an absolute majority government here. It is certain. He said that people will think how this man speaks, but I am saying with full confidence that BJP is going to form government with full majority. The people of Bengal are with the BJP.
