Mumbai : Saif Ali Khan-Dimple Kapadia’s web series ‘Tandava’ was released on Friday. However, a dispute has also started on this series. BJP MLA Ram Kadam has targeted actor Saif Ali Khan, saying that he has once again become a part of the web series in which Hindu sentiments are being hurt.

He wrote on his Twitter handle, why after all every time films and web series are used to humiliate Hindu deities. The latest example is the new web series ‘Tandav’.

He said that director Ali Abbas Zafar will have to remove a part of series in which they have made fun of Lord Shiva. Actor Zeeshan Ayub will have to apologize. Tandav will be boycotted until necessary changes are made.

At the same time, BJP MP Manoj Kotak has written a letter to Information and Broadcasting Minister Prakash Javadekar regarding this matter and has demanded action on websites. According to Kotak, Tandav web series contains anti-Hindu content and attempts have been made to hurt Hindu sentiments.

He wrote on his Twitter handle, ‘The OTT platform has no compulsion like censorship. But because of this, Hindu sentiments are constantly being hurt. I condemn it. I have spoken to Union Minister Prakash Javadekar in this regard. I have appealed to them that in order to preserve the integrity of India, arrangements should be made to control OTT content as well. We are moving very fast in this direction.’
