FACT CHECK : Is it true that birds are dying due to Jio 5G testing?

New Delhi : Along with Corona, bird flu has created panic in the country. The country is facing double setbacks. Meanwhile, a claim going viral on social media says that birds are dying due to a 5G test conducted by Reliance Jio. Users say that people are being fooled that bird flu is spreading. Many users are sharing similar posts on Twitter and Facebook.

In this message, the news is spreading that birds are dying due to Jio’s 5G testing and people are being fooled that bird flu is spreading. However a media house investigated this. According to which, the Government of India has not yet auctioned 5G spectrum, so there is no question of 5G testing. Apart from this, Reliance Jio has also denied testing of 5G.

Many states of the country has confirmed avian influenza due to bird deaths. Till now the Central Government has not allowed any telecom unit to test 5G technology in India.
