Mumbai : The BMC has filed a police complaint against actor Sonu Sood on charges of converting a 6-storey residential building into a hotel. BMC alleges that the actor has done so without permission. BMC has said that action should be taken against Sonu Sood under Maharashtra Region and Town Planning Act.

The BMC has accused the actor of increasing the portion of the building, changing the design and making changes in the use of it. The BMC has said in its complaint, ‘It has been found that Sonu Sood himself changed the use of the land. Apart from this, the residential building has been converted into a residential hotel building by making additional construction out of the fixed plan. For this, he has not even obtained the necessary technical approval from the authority.
The complaint has been lodged by BMC at Juhu police station on 4 January. The BMC has also accused Sonu Sood of ignoring the notice. This FIR is registered under the MRTP Act.
