Girl killed in 31st Party in Mumbai, Police arrests two including boyfriend

Mumbai : The first murder of the year 2021 took place at a New Year party in Mumbai. A 21-year-old woman was beaten to death by a young woman, together with her lover. The name of the deceased girl is Janhvi Kukreja. This incident took place in Khar (West). In this case, Khar police station has registered a case of murder on the accused. In this case, the police have arrested both the accused, a girl and her boyfriend.

According to the information received, a New Year party was organized on the roof of Bhagwati Heights building in Khar. The party was organized by the youth living in the building. Along with Janhvi Kukreja, both the accused Shri Jogadhankar (age 22) and Diya Padankar (age 19) were also invited to the party.

The police questioned other people joining the party. During this, the police came to know that all three of them started fighting over something. However, due to the loud music of the party, no one heard why there was a fight between them. A close friend of Janhvi said that both of them beat her up a lot. Later both of them grabbed her by the hair and pulled her to the second floor. Janhvi had a head injury. There was a lot of bleeding from her head. Due to which she died. According to the police, Shri Jogdhankar is the main accused.

Police suspect that the dispute may have been caused by Love Triangle. Janhvi lives in the Santa Cruz area, while both suspects live in Khar. Where the party was held. CCTV has been installed on that terrace. The footage showed Janhvi walking out of the party with the suspects at 12.30 pm. She was found dead at half past two.
