ISIS terrorist attack on army convoy in Syria, 28 deaths so far

New Delhi : On Wednesday, a bus was attacked in Syria, a stronghold of terrorist organization ISIS. So far, 28 people have been reported killed in this attack in southern Syria. The attack took place in an area where Islamic State militants had their control in the past. Although now IS militants have been driven out from here, despite that organization is still active here.

According to a news agency, the bus was in Kobajjep in Syria’s southern Deir ez-Zur when the terrorist attack took place. The terrorists are believed to have targeted the army convoy. More information about the attack is yet to come.

According to a senior army officer, the targeted vehicle was carrying soldiers and government-backed fighters. These people were returning to their base camp after the holiday.

Where this attack took place is a crowded area. Another source says that at least 30 soldiers have died in this attack. Most of them were soldiers of the Elite IV Brigade of the Syrian Army.
