New Delhi : The number of patients infected with the coronavirus in the country is now rapidly decreasing. The least number of new patients were found on Sunday in the last six months. On Sunday, 18,735 new patients were found. After which now the total number of patients has crossed 1 crore 1 lakh 87 thousand. Good figures are that more than 97 lakh 61 thousand people have been cured from Corona. The rate of recovery is 95.82 percent. While the death rate has declined by 1.44 percent.

According to the Central Health Department, the total number of corona patients is 1,01,87,850 and the number of cures is 97,61,383. The fact that the number of corona patients is decreasing steadily is a major relief. On Sunday, a total of 21,430 people in the country recovered and 279 people died. The total number of victims is now 1,47,622. The number of active patients in the country is 2,78,690 and their ratio is 2.73 percent.

The rate of treatment of corona patients in the state is 94.29 percent, while the death rate is 2.57 percent. The vaccination campaign to prevent corona began in Europe on Sunday. European vaccination campaigns have been started in European countries such as France, Italy, Germany, Greece, Spain, Hungary. Senior citizens and medical staff are being vaccinated first.

A vaccine developed by Pfizer-BioNtech is being used in the campaign.
