Ahmedabad : In a virtual dialogue with Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Preeti, a fruit hawker, had highlighted the problem of a shabby house. Three hours later, DM Prabhu N Singh went to his house and handed over a check of two lakh rupees. After which Preeti said that she could not believe that the hearing in the government takes place so soon. In the virtual dialogue, Preeti had told the PM that through the Swanidhi scheme, you have given huge support to the needy.
The Prime Minister had a seven-minute conversation with Priti, a resident of Tajganj, who sells fruit in Shilpgram. In which Prime Minister Modi asked Preeti about the benefits of the Swanidhi scheme, the difficulties faced in lockdown, the benefits of the government scheme and also the benefits of the Swanidhi scheme.

Prime Minister: How did you manage the house in lockdown?
Preeti: There were some problems in the lockdown, not only on me but all over India, but you helped overcome all problems. You gave money in Jan Dhan Yojana. Food packets were received from the Municipal Corporation, full support was provided. Whenever we called, we used to get food.
Prime Minister: Did you get the ration on time?
Preeti: Yes, we have a ration card.
Prime Minister: You decided to stand on your feet, good.
Preeti: As long as you hold our finger, nothing will happen to us.
Prime Minister: If you make digital payments, you will get cashback, do you know that?
Preeti: Yes, I know. 1200 rupees will be given in a year.
Prime Minister: You can take advantage of interest. In a way, you will get money without interest. You can avoid corona with digital payment. I wish you good business and better education for your children.
