New Delhi : On Monday late evening 17 child prisoners attacked the jail staff and escaped from the Observation House situated on Barwala Road in Hisar, Haryana. Three warders were injured in this attack, who have been admitted to the hospital for treatment. After the escape of the child prisoners, the police have issued alerts on all the points in the district as well as the other districts adjoining the district through wireless.
Till late in the night, the police could not catch any of the escaped child prisoners. After the incident, ASP Upasana Yadav visited the Observation House and took stock of the situation. After this, a forensic team also reached the spot, who collected clues from the scene.
At around 6 pm on Monday evening, child prisoners were being taken out of the barracks and counted. After the count was completed, they were to be taken for dinner but suddenly some child prisoners attacked the warders stationed there. Due to this sudden attack, the warders did not understand anything and the child prisoners attacked them with whatever they got on the spot from wooden things etc. Pulling the key out of the warder’s pocket, minor prisoners opened the lock and escaped from there. Warders Talvindra, Sunil and Chandrakant were injured in the attack, who have been admitted to the civil hospital for treatment.
